Vehicle Technician

Our client, a leading automotive service centre and tyre retailer with multiple locations nationwide, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy team in Banbury.

• Guaranteed 42.5-hour week over five days
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm, and alternate Saturdays, 8:00am-4:00pm (with a weekday off when working a Saturday)

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct accurate tyre repairs and fitting across all vehicle makes and models
• Perform routine maintenance, including servicing and inspections
• Carry out repairs such as brake, exhaust, suspension, and wheel alignment on cars and vans/LCVs
• Remove and refit components, ensuring proper adjustments and documentation
• Work with high standards of quality workmanship
• Assist at the front reception with customer enquiries when required
• Maintain detailed records in line with company policies as a-Vehicle Technician

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician, gained through employment or apprenticeship
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months with minimal points
• Reside within reasonable commuting distance of Banbury
• Friendly, approachable manner with a professional attitude
• Ability to produce high-quality work within designated timeframes
• Demonstrated competence in tyre fitting, routine servicing, and minor repairs
