Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable employer in Brent Cross, is looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their dedicated team. This is an excellent chance to work in a thriving environment specialising in light commercial vehicles and cars, with competitive earnings potential and a supportive work culture.

Benefits:

• Competitive basic salary of up to £38,760, with an OTE of £44,760
• Performance-related bonuses earning up to £600 per quarter
• Monday to Friday working hours from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm
• One Saturday morning in four, paid at 1.5 times standard rate

Duties:

• Performing repairs and servicing on vans and cars
• Carrying out clutch replacements, timing belt replacements, and scheduled maintenance
• Fault diagnosis and road testing vehicles post-repair
• Accurately completing service documentation and repair reports
• Ensuring work complies with manufacturer standards and health & safety regulations
• Maintaining a clean and organised workshop environment as a professional Vehicle Technician

Requirements:

• Relevant technical qualifications, ideally NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a busy workshop environment
• Full valid UK manual driving licence, with minimal points (please specify points)
• Good understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures suitable for a Vehicle Technician
• Proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and commitment to quality work
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment
