Our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership based in Chippenham, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and professional workshop team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to develop their career within a well-established local dealer group.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct fault diagnosis, vehicle servicing, and repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards
• Accurately identify faults, report on vehicle condition, safety, and performance issues
• Ensure all work complies with client and manufacturer quality procedures
• Maintain high standards of workmanship in a busy franchise environment
• Keep detailed records of all diagnostics and repair processes
• Support team targets and contribute to workshop efficiency
• Assist with road testing vehicles as necessary
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or higher in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Experience working within a franchised dealership or similar environment
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal driving points
• Strong diagnostics and repair skills
• Ability to produce high-quality work under pressure
• Team player with a proactive attitude and good communication skills
• An active MOT licence would be advantageous but is not essential; full training provided
