Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable and well-established family-run automotive service centre operating in the East Bristol region for nearly 40 years, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their friendly team. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vehicles to a high standard
• Conduct MOT tests, subject to holding an active MOT licence
• Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and advise on necessary repairs
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards and workshop procedures
• Report on vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Company Owner
• Work efficiently within a busy workshop environment, maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate effectively with team members to meet operational targets

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Experience within a similar role as a Vehicle Technician is essential; formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent are desirable but not mandatory
• An active MOT licence is highly beneficial
• A full UK driving licence with minimal points
• A dedicated, motivated team player with a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic and focus on safety and workmanship standards
