Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of a reputable car dealership located in Croydon, Surrey.

• Up to £45,000 basic salary, dependent on qualifications and experience

• Full-time hours, 42.5 per week, Monday to Friday

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Diagnose faults and identify repair requirements on Vauxhall vehicles and vans
• Perform servicing and maintenance strictly following Vauxhall manufacturer guidelines
• Repair and replace defective components such as injectors, seals, and other critical parts
• Ensure all vehicles are roadworthy and conform to safety and performance standards
• Provide accurate estimates for repair times and produce detailed service reports
• Collaborate effectively with the workshop team under the guidance of the Workshop Manager

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent vocational experience
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT Tester licence is advantageous but not essential
• Proven experience working on Vauxhall vehicles with strong diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently on various mechanical tasks
• Proactive attitude and dedication to delivering high-quality workmanship
