Vehicle Technician

We are working on behalf of our client, a well-established franchise dealership in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire, to recruit a highly skilled Vehicle Technician. Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Perform vehicle repairs, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards
• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults to high industry standards
• Provide detailed and accurate reports to customers regarding repairs and maintenance
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining repair procedures clearly
• Work collaboratively within a team to meet targets and uphold high customer service standards
• Maintain workshop efficiency and cleanliness to uphold dealership reputation
• Conduct routine servicing and maintenance tasks as required as a-Vehicle Technician

Requirements:

• Fully qualified Automotive Vehicle Technician, holding a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience working within a dealership environment is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• MOT licence is advantageous but not essential
• A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship
