Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable Main Dealer in the Grantham area, is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance to work within a well-established franchise. The Vehicle Technician role offers competitive remuneration, ongoing training, and opportunities for career development.

• Basic salary up to -42,000, depending on experience
• OTE -48,000 with bonus and overtime opportunities
• Salary packages tailored to all skill levels
• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays

Duties-of a Vehicle Technician:

• Repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards
• Conduct diagnostic checks and identify faults
• Liaise effectively with service advisors, customers, and management
• Complete safety inspections adherence to DVSA standards
• Perform general vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
• Assist in other vehicle-related tasks as required

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Own set of tools
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT licence desirable but not essential
• Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
