Vehicle Technician

Our client, a reputable independent German vehicle specialist based in South Gloucestershire, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. • Salary up to £45,000 dependent on experience and current earnings
• No weekend work; Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

Duties as a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct fault diagnosis and problem-solving
• Perform vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
• Maintain high-quality workmanship to exacting standards
• Complete job cards and documentation accurately
• Utilise diagnostic systems including ISTA+, VCDS, Autel, WOW!, ODIS, ICOM, Xentry, and Maverick Diagnostics
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Work collaboratively with the Workshop Manager and team to meet workshop targets

Requirements for the Vehicle Technician Role:

• Proven hands-on experience in vehicle repair and diagnostics
• Strong diagnostic skills, experience with industry-standard tools and systems (ISTA+, VCDS, Autel, etc.)
• Formal qualifications (IMI/NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair) are desirable but not essential
• Time-served technicians with demonstrable ability will be considered
• Experience working with German vehicles is advantageous but not essential
• Organised, methodical, and committed to high standards
• Confident team player with a strong work ethic
• Ability to adapt in a busy independent workshop environment
