Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Vehicle Technician in Taunton. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable dealership committed to delivering high-quality service. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct routine vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Carry out MOT inspections and testing in compliance with legal requirements
• Diagnose vehicle faults accurately and efficiently
• Complete service and repair documentation thoroughly
• Liaise with the workshop controller to prioritise workload effectively
• Ensure customer vehicles are completed to a high standard within specified timescales
• Maintain a focus on quality and customer satisfaction

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualification as a Vehicle Technician
• Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician within a busy workshop
• MOT Tester certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Proficiency in vehicle diagnostic techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence
