Vehicle Technician

We are representing a reputable independent garage in Portsmouth that is seeking a dedicated vehicle technician to join their team. The role of vehicle technician is pivotal to maintaining the high standards of service that the garage is known for. Duties:

• Conduct vehicle servicing and repairs to high standards efficiently
• Diagnose faults accurately using modern scanning and diagnostic tools
• Complete warranty and sales-related repairs as required
• Maintain professionalism and uphold the reputation of the garage
• Assist with team operations and support apprentice development
• Ensure all work is completed within designated timeframes

Requirements:

• Fully qualified or time-served to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance
• Full UK driving licence
• Proven experience as a vehicle technician, ideally within an independent garage setting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills
• Competence in using diagnostic equipment such as FordScan, Autel, Snap-On, and smoke testers
