Vehicle Technician

We are sourcing a highly skilled Vehicle Technician for a prominent dealership in Birmingham, West Midlands.

Our client, one of the largest privately owned motor retailer groups in the UK, is seeking a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician to join their team.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance
• Inspect vehicle components for wear and tear, documenting findings
• Test and diagnose faulty parts, resolving faults efficiently
• Support the preparation and maintenance of new, used, and loan vehicles
• Ensure high standards of workmanship in a busy environment
• Maintain comprehensive records of all services and repairs
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times

Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Ideally 1 to 2 years’ practical experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills
• Ability to produce high-quality work within deadlines
• Committed team player with a professional attitude
