Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of our reputable client, a leading Main Dealer in Stafford, for the position of Vehicle Technician. Duties of a Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct vehicle health checks accurately and thoroughly
• Perform routine vehicle services adhering to franchise standards
• Complete additional repairs authorised by the customer
• Handle warranty repairs efficiently
• Road test vehicles following repairs to ensure fault rectification
• Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard, ensuring accurate documentation
• Maintain a professional approach to customer service and vehicle reliability

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualification
• Proven motor industry experience in a vehicle technician role
• Full, valid UK driving licence
• Diagnostic experience is essential
• MOT tester certification is preferred
• Brand experience is advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction
