Vehicle Technician

Our client, a leading commercial vehicle specialist, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to join their team in Stockton.

This-Vehicle Technician position offers a salary of up to -36,720 (OTE -42,660), with comprehensive training and excellent career development opportunities.

The position operates Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week, with a rotating Saturday morning schedule (1 in 4), and overtime paid at time and a half. Join a reputable company committed to delivering high standards in vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repair.

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on Light Commercial Vehicles, vans, and cars
• Utilise technical skills to diagnose and resolve vehicle issues efficiently as a-Vehicle Technician
• Follow manufacturer guidelines and health & safety regulations at all times
• Ensure vehicles are returned to customers promptly, adhering to quality standards
• Deliver exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members

Requirements:

• Successfully completed NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance, City and Guilds equivalent, or higher qualification
• Full UK driving license
• Own set of essential tools
• MOT license is desirable but not essential
• A high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Strong awareness of health and safety policies
• Enthusiasm to develop technical knowledge and skills
