Vehicle Technician

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a reputable dealership group located in Croydon, Surrey. • Basic salary range of -32,000 to -40,000 depending on experience

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:

• Conducting vehicle servicing, diagnosis, and repairs according to manufacturer standards
• Communicating effectively with the parts and service teams regarding vehicle status and ETA
• Engaging with customers to provide technical guidance and explanations
• Attending manufacturer training courses to maintain up-to-date product knowledge
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health and safety practices
• Contributing to the overall efficiency and customer satisfaction of the workshop

Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician in the motor trade
• Qualified at Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle repair and maintenance
• Familiarity with the latest vehicle technology
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality workmanship
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload efficiently
