Vehicle Technician

A position has opened to join our team at MG Redditch.The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out inspection and service routines, repairs on vehicles in a professional and safe manner as assigned, in accordance with dealer and factory standards.Paul Rigby group has built a reputation on providing courteous and honest service, which together with your efficiency, skill, attention to detail, combined with a Minimum Qualification of NVQ 3, City and Guilds or equivalent qualification will be central to your success. It will also be beneficial to be Electric Vehicle trained as this is central to MG as a business, being one of the market leaders.Hours for the position are - 8.30 - 5.00 Monday to Friday, Saturday morning on a rota basis with overtime available.Required Experience:Experienced Vehicle Technician.Perform work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracyDiagnose vehicle malfunctions, and recommend/perform appropriate repairsNotify Workshop Controller if work cannot be completed as promisedCommunicate with Parts Department to obtain parts needed, inform Workshop Controller if vehicle is awaiting parts and pursue special order of parts if necessaryAdheres to all company policies, procedures and safety standardsHave a commitment to delivering outstanding levels of customer careWe are looking for a team player, who will be able to work well with our current staff.Level 3 qualifiedAn exciting opportunity to join the Paul Rigby group, a ..... full job details .....
