Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

We are seeking a MOT Technician to join our established independent automotive business in Windermere, Cumbria. This MOT Technician position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional seeking career progression, including the potential to move into management.

Duties:

• The MOT Technician will conduct MOT tests in accordance with current legal requirements.
• Complete vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is carried out efficiently and accurately.
• Deliver consistently high levels of customer service.
• Follow all workshop health and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work.
• Work collaboratively with the wider team while managing tasks independently.

Requirements:

• Level 3 NVQ in Light Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent qualification.
• Valid MOT Tester licence is essential.
• Proven experience as a MOT Technician .
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team.
• Full UK driving licence.
