Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester £40,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary (DOE) Hindhead, Surrey Permanent Full Time Monday to Friday (8:30am 5:30pm) No Weekend Working Modern Independent Garage Ongoing Training and Development Our client, a long-established and highly regarded independent garage based in Hindhead is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their team. An MOT Tester licence would be a distinct advantage, but it is not essential. If you''re an experienced Vehicle Technician who doesn''t currently hold an MOT licence, we''d still love to hear from you. This is an excellent opportunity to join a recently refurbished workshop equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, where you''ll become part of a close-knit team that genuinely supports one another. The business has successfully grown from its roots as a classic vehicle specialist into a thriving modern repair centre, while still occasionally working on classic vehicles. Duties and Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles. Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults. Complete clutches, cambelts, brakes, suspension and general mechanical repairs. Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional work where required. Perform MOT tests if qualified (this is not essential for the role). Ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards.
