Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
 
We are recruiting for a skilled Vehicle Technician - LCV, EV & MOT Tester to join our client in Cambridge. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced technician with electric vehicle and light commercial vehicle experience to join a modern and progressive workshop environment.
 
Main Duties

• Carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance on cars, vans and electric vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
• Performing Class 4 MOT tests
• Working on EV systems and high-voltage components
• Completing vehicle health checks and safety inspections
• Carrying out warranty and customer repairs
• Using manufacturer and diagnostic systems to identify faults
• Road testing vehicles when required
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standards

 
Skills and Experience

• Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Current MOT Tester licence
• At least 5 years'' experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Experience working on light commercial vehicles (LCVs)
• Previous experience working on electric vehicles (EVs)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Manufacturer accreditation or franchise experience desirable but not essential
