      <description>Location: Chatham | Salary: &amp;pound;41000/annum | Type: Permanent | Our client offer their customers an all-in-one, go-to destination for vehicle and plant repairs and maintenance. Due to company growth, they are now recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to be based at their small workshop in Chatham, Kent, to provide service and repair to their client''s fleets of vehicles (light commercial/cars). The vehicle service technician will be required to provide their own basic range of tools.   Responsibilities:     Discussing required repairs with admin team and customers.   Calculating the expected time for repairs.   Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing any required work.   Repairing or replacing components as required.   Road testing vehicles to test repair work or diagnose.   Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories, including parking sensors, cameras, tow-bars and reverse cameras.   Performing service and vehicle system safety checks.   Performing vehicle maintenance tasks, such as changing oil and air filters, brakes, clutch, gearbox, suspension and diagnostics as required.   Cleaning and maintaining the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safety.   To carry out quality checks on all technician''s work and discuss findings. ...</description>
