The role will primarily involve the maintenance, servicing and repair of bin wagons/refuse collection vehicles , with a strong focus on chassis, mechanical and electrical work. Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on bin wagons/refuse collection vehicles. Undertake chassis repairs and maintenance . Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults. Carry out brake inspections, repairs and replacements. Complete routine filter and oil changes. Diagnose and replace vehicle sensors. Inspect, maintain and replace springs and associated components. Carry out preventative maintenance and safety inspections. Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety requirements. Support the wider engineering operation as required.
