Position: Vehicle Technician Location: Onsite in DuntonPosition Type: ContractInside IR35 23.24 Inside Umbrella PAYE About the companyI am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Automotive OEM Based in Essex who are now looking for a Vehicle technician to join the team on a long term rolling basisInside IR35 Position Description:Interface to workshop and test facilities as required achieving set tasks/goals.Skills Required:Work as a member of a team to keep vehicles updated with correct level h/w and controls.Arrange installation of required instrumentation with relevant workshop groups.Organize vehicle test fleet activities - climatic test in chamber and test trip organisation.Arranging shipment of vehicles and equipment as required.Carry out administrative duties - documentation of vehicles - registration, tax etc.Coordination and records keeping, shipping documentation, requisitioning equipment and materials.Keeping and working to plans as required to support the calibration team.Experience Required:Experience in Vehicle testing and Powertrain Calibration activitiesWhy work through Contechs?Contechs is a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy.
