The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, you''ll be responsible for providing high-quality technical and diagnostic services while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction and workshop productivity.
Key responsibilities include:
·Carrying out vehicle servicing, inspections, maintenance and repairs
·Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and technical faults
·Providing efficient technical and diagnostic support
·Working to manufacturer repair and quality standards
·Maintaining a high level of technical knowledge
·Completing manufacturer training and keeping qualifications up to date
·Ensuring all work is completed safely and accurately
·Completing vehicle health checks in line with company processes
·Working towards and exceeding productivity and customer satisfaction targets
 
About You
We''re looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic who takes pride in their workmanship.
You''ll ideally have:
·City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
·Previous experience inspecting, servicing and repairing motor vehicles
·Full UK Driving Licence
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
·Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·MOT Tester qualification - highly desirable
·Previous franchised dealership experience - preferred but not essential
·A professional, positive and team-focused approach
