The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician, you''ll play a key role in delivering high-quality vehicle maintenance and repairs while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
·Conducting comprehensive vehicle health checks using the latest technology.
·Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and recommending appropriate repairs.
·Completing additional repairs once authorised by customers.
·Carrying out warranty repairs in line with manufacturer guidelines.
·Undertaking road tests to ensure repairs have been completed successfully.
·Maintaining accurate job cards and technical records.
·Working closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient workshop operation.
·Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
 
About You
To be considered for this Vehicle Technician position, you''ll ideally have:
·NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification.
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
·Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
·Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and vehicle repairs.
·A commitment to high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
·The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·A full, valid UK driving licence.
 
Previous franchised dealership experience is desirable but not essential. Manufacturer accreditation training will be provided. Diagnostic, MOT and Hybrid/EV experience would also be advantageous.
