The Role
As a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician, you''ll be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs, ensuring vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
·Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
·Conducting vehicle inspections and identifying additional work required.
·Completing vehicle health checks and reporting findings accurately.
·Carrying out repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
·Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve vehicle faults.
·Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
·Maintaining accurate job cards and service records.
·Working closely with colleagues to ensure an efficient workshop operation.
·Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
 
About You
To be considered for this Vehicle Technician position, you''ll ideally have:
·NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or an equivalent qualification.
·Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Vehicle Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
·Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
·Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and vehicle repairs.
·Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
·The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·A proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting productivity targets.
·A full, valid UK driving licence.
