Vehicle Technician 42.5 45 hours a week Monday - Friday + alternating Saturdays 8am to 5:30pm with 1 hour break Alternating Saturdays 8am-1pm Salary between £30,000 - £42,500 Performance Related Bonus 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays) Pension Scheme and Life Assurance Privilege vehicle purchase scheme Discount on Service, Bodyshop and Parts Key Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician: Carry out services on specific makes and models of vehicles Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles - such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation Identify issues with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment General maintenance and repairs Carrying out MOT Tests (If qualified to do so) Brakes checks and changes (pads and discs) Suspension work Repairs on lights Repairing and replacing exhausts Repairing and replacing clutches Dealing with gearboxes Plan and keep up to date records of repair procedures using charts manuals and experience. Test the functionality of parts and systems once repairs are completed Vehicle Technician Requirements: NVQ/City and Guilds/IMI certifications required to Level 3 or Level 2 accepted with a minimum of 5 years services Hold a full valid driver license.
