Vehicle Technician / Mechanic We are currently recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join a busy and professional Accident Repair Centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled technician who enjoys the mechanical side of vehicle repair, with a particular focus on suspension, steering, four-wheel alignment and vehicle electrics. Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a range of mechanical and electrical repairs to vehicles following accident damage, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Your responsibilities will include: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults Suspension and steering repairs Brakes and associated mechanical components Carrying out 4-wheel alignment and geometry checks Checking and correcting wheel alignment following accident repairs Electrical fault finding and basic diagnostic work Removing and refitting mechanical and electrical components Carrying out safety checks and quality inspections Working alongside Panel Beaters, MET Technicians and other members of the body shop team Ensuring vehicles are repaired to manufacturer and company standards Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Requirements of a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician / Mechanic with a strong background in mechanical repairs.
