This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for maintaining and servicing vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety and performance. Key Responsibilities:As a Vehicle Technician, your main responsibilities will include:Conducting inspections of vehicles to meet Ministry of Transport and manufacturer standards.Performing servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles and equipment to quality standards and within designated timeframes.Undertaking commissioning and decommissioning of Force vehicles, including fitting lightbars, sirens, and radios.Executing a variety of electrical modifications and repairs, such as replacing bulbs and diagnosing vehicle electrical systems.Carrying out fault diagnosis on engine management systems using electronic diagnostic equipment.Completing MOT inspections and maintaining accurate documentation.Assisting in the design, fabrication, and fitting out of specialist vehicles.Maintaining accurate records for administration processes, including timesheets and inspection reports.Conducting road tests on vehicles using designated test routes.Ensuring a safe and clean working environment by maintaining workshop housekeeping.Flexibly working additional hours as ..... full job details .....
