Vehicle Service Technician

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Service Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a Main Car Dealership located in Reading.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Service Technician who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

- Monday To Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (40 Hour Week) / 1 In 4 Saturday Mornings 8am - 12pm

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Conducting Servicing/Repairs to a variety of Vehicles
- PDI Prep tasks.
- Adhering to both Manufacturer and Health and Safety Guidelines
- Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
- MOT Testing
- Documenting information about Servicing and Repairing – ensuring it meets company policies.

Requirements:

- Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 Qualification, or equivalent
- Dedicated and committed approach.
- Prior working experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Your job as a Vehicle Technician will be your passion and you will enjoy all aspects of your work.
- You should have your own tools.
- Full UK Driving Licence

The salary of this role is up to £32,000 basic with OTE of £40,000.

Hours of work in this Vehicle Service Technician role are Monday To Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm (40 Hour Week) / 1-In-4 Saturday Mornings 8am - 12pm.
