Location: PeterboroughPay Rate: £17.50 per hourRole Type: Permanent, Full-time About the Role As a Vehicle Repair Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and refurbishing commercial vehicles and trailers to high standards of safety, quality and workmanship. The role involves body repair, fabrication, welding, panel replacement and vehicle refinishing, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and in accordance with company procedures and health and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Inspect damaged vehicles and trailers to determine repair requirements Identify whether components should be repaired or replaced Report additional defects identified during the repair process Accurately record repair work undertaken and parts required Repair damaged vehicle bodies, panels and structural components Remove and replace damaged bodywork and associated vehicle components Carry out panel beating, straightening and alignment Fabricate replacement sections and panels where required Undertake welding and fabrication work using approved methods and equipment Prepare repaired surfaces through sanding, ..... full job details .....
