Vehicle Prep Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location: Grimsby

Pay rate: -16.05 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks (dependent on work ethic and progression on site)

Shift pattern: 4 on / 4 off (shift rotation)

Hours: 6:00am - 6:00pm

The Role

GI Group are recruiting for a Vehicle Prep Operative to join their clients busy, fast-paced site in Grimsby. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, follows processes, and is keen to progress - with the chance of a permanent role after 12 weeks for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing vehicles to the required standard before they move to the next stage
• Completing basic checks and reporting any damage/defects
• Moving vehicles safely around site (where applicable)
• Working to targets while maintaining quality and safety standards

What We''re Looking For

• Previous vehicle prep experience is required
• Strong attention to detail and pride in a job well done
• Reliable, punctual and able to work 12-hour shifts on a 4 on / 4 off basis
• A team player with a positive work ethic
• Full UK driving licence, held for 2 years with 0 points or endorsements (existing points can be discussed and accepted, subject to code)
• 22 years of age and over due to insurance
