About the Role
The role of Vehicle Powertrain Design Engineer is based in Woking, working on a contract basis. This position requires an experienced engineer to lead powertrain concept development within a renowned automotive manufacturer. Key responsibilities include full vehicle packaging, carbon fibre composite design, and powertrain layout. Candidates must possess over five years of automotive design experience using Catia V5, along with expertise in creating detailed technical drawings with geometric tolerancing. Knowledge of mechanical design for systems such as fastening, sealing, and manufacturing processes is essential. Essential Skills and Qualifications
Over 5 years of design experience in the automotive industry using Catia V5
