The Role As a Diagnostic Technician, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle faults, carrying out diagnostics, and completing mechanical repairs to ensure vehicles meet the required standards for resale. Working as part of a skilled team, you will undertake a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks while ensuring jobs are completed efficiently, safely and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults. Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer and company-approved methods. Complete a range of mechanical repairs including: Cambelt replacements Clutch replacements Wheel alignment Brake repairs Suspension repairs General wear and tear repairs MOT failure rectification work Accurately identify repair requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
