The role supports the business by completing planned maintenance, responding to defects and breakdowns, preparing vehicles for statutory inspection, and maintaining accurate maintenance records in line with company procedures, manufacturer guidance, DVSA expectations, operator licence requirements, and applicable health, safety and environmental standards. Specific Tasks Carry out routine servicing, preventative maintenance and safety inspections on vehicles, trailers, mobile plant and ancillary equipment. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and braking system faults using inspection techniques, diagnostic equipment, technical data and sound engineering judgement.
