Your Role:
As a Vehicle Installation Technician, you will be at the forefront of installing essential equipment, including harnesses, light bars, communication systems, and more! Your expertise will shine as you:
- Install electrical equipment on a variety of blue light vehicles
- Maintain high standards consistent with vehicle manufacturers
- Collaborate effectively within a team while also thriving independently
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out diagnostics, fault finding, and electrical repairs on various vehicles
- Follow build instructions meticulously to meet conversion standards
- Demonstrate knowledge of tools and wiring termination skills, including connectors, terminals, soldering, and Raychem
- Conduct electrical installations of aftermarket products in vehicles
Required Skills:
- Previous automotive industry experience or NVQ Level 2/Level 3 qualification
- Self-motivated with excellent organisational skills
- A strong team player with a flexible approach to accommodate last-minute changes
- A commitment to high-quality workmanship and meeting targets
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must be willing to undergo Police Vetting in accordance with local laws and regulations. To apply, you should have at least 2 years of experience as an installation technician or auto electrician and have lived in the UK for the past 3 years with the right to work.
