About the Role

The role of Vehicle Inspector Nights involves inspecting vehicles to NEW, AUC and BVRLA standards using mobile computer technology. Based in Goole, this temporary position offers up to £17.80 per hour. Working Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 06:00, the postholder will capture high-quality damage images, review them against customer expectations, and communicate with internal and external partners to ensure efficient processing. Duties also include identifying damage and previous repairs, applying the correct repair method, loading work into appropriate areas, and apportioning costs correctly. The role requires strong attention to detail, autonomous working, and the ability to handle inspections accurately throughout the night shift.


Manpower are currently looking for a Vehicle Technician for one of our clients in the Thorne area!
This role is working nights Monday to Friday starting at 18:00pm until 6am.

The rate will be £17.80 per hour
Duties -

  • Inspecting vehicles to NEW, AUC and BVRLA standards, using mobile computer technology.
  • Take high quality images of damage as required, dependant on customer inspection standard, review images to confirm quality of customers'' expectations.
  • Communicate with several internal and external partners to ensure vehicles are processed efficiently and accurately.
  • Have the ability to identify damage and previous repairs and applying the correct repair method autonomously.
  • Loading work into the correct work areas and apportioning the costs to the correct responsibility.
  • Handle all Inspection equipment in a safe and proper manner.
  • Provide a professional level of customer service to both internal and external customers, this includes carrying out demonstrations of inspection process during calibrations.
  • Liaise closely with site personnel and maintain regular contact with line manager.
  • Remain up to date on customer inspection process and standards.
  • Take care and responsibility of all vehicles in your care, reporting immediately any accidents.
  • Carry out other duties as requested by line manager.
  • Actively champion a culture of continuous improvement
