Vehicle Inspector

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Vehicle Inspector to work alongside the existing team at one of the UK''s most modern and professional vehicle salvage agents and parts recyclers based in Thame, Oxfordshire.

The role will require you to list parts from accident-damaged vehicles, inputting the parts into our computer system using a tablet pc. You will be checking export engines, getting vehicles started and videoing them running.

This role requires good attention to detail and to be able to follow specific processes and procedures. This role is based outside on a concrete holding area.

The essential qualities required for the role include:

- Attention to detail

- Ability to follow processes and procedures

- Working knowledge of motor vehicles

- Forklift driving experience (desirable but not essential)

- Must have basic computer skills

The successful applicant must be reliable, enthusiastic and conscientious and be comfortable working in a very busy, fast-moving environment.

The salary is -25,239.00 per annum per annum depending on experience, to be reviewed once the 3-month probationary period has been successfully completed. Plus, upon successful completion eligibility for a discretional monthly bonus and petrol allowance.

The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5.00pm, Friday 8.00am - 4.45pm (2 x 30-minute breaks)#HP
