Vehicle Inspections AssessorWe are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Vehicle Inspections Assessor. This role is responsible for carrying out detailed vehicle inspections, assessing condition and roadworthiness, and producing accurate reports in line with company standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on automotive experience and strong technical knowledge of vehicle systems and components.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough vehicle inspections in line with company procedures and industry standardsAssess vehicle condition, identifying faults, defects, and areas requiring repair or further investigationProduce clear, detailed, and accurate inspection reports within agreed timescalesHighlight and escalate any technical or safety-related issues identified during inspectionsEnsure all assessments are completed efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracyCommunicate professionally with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders regarding inspection findingsMaintain accurate records and documentation for all inspections carried outSkills and Experience RequiredLevel 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and RepairPrevious hands-on experience working with vehicles in a workshop or inspection environmentStrong technical understanding of vehicle components and systemsGenuine interest in and enthusiasm for the automotive industryProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and WordGCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent ..... full job details .....
