Vehicle handover specialist / Class 2 Driver (HGV)

We have a position opened up at our ever growing Preparation and distribution site in Stourbridge.This role is key to a seamless operation as the successful candidate will be delivering vehicles from all of our franchises and carrying out a structured Handover process with the customer.Our operation here varies from driven deliveries, Trailer deliveries and HGV covered deliveries.We are looking to grow our team here with a candidate that is eligible to drive all of the above fleet so they must have all the relevant licences and CPC training. Excellent face to face customer service skills and a keen attitude to offer the best quality service every time.Salary will be assessed based on experience.Responsibilities:- Safely drive and operate a truck/vehicle and trailer to transport vehicles to designated locations.- Carry out a specialised Handover to customer at their required address.- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports.- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the fleet.- Perform routine Daily/weekly checks on the truck and report any issues or malfunctions- Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo areaQualifications:- Valid ''C'' (class 2) HGV driver''s license with a clean driving record.
