VEHICLE FITTERJob Title: Vehicle Fitter (Vehicle Technician)Location: Matlock, Derbyshire Salary: £44,000 (OTE £50,000+)Shift: Monday Friday (Early Shift) 6:00am 2:00pmJob Role of the Vehicle Fitter A great opportunity has become available for a Vehicle Fitter / Vehicle Technician to join a busy industrial site, working as part of a team within a well-equipped workshop environment.You will be responsible for inspecting, servicing and repairing a range of vehicles and site equipment to ensure they are safe, reliable and ready to return to operation with minimal downtime.This role will involve maintenance and repair of: front loaders, forklift trucks and other plant machinery.Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Vehicle Fitter Experience in a similar role (Vehicle Technician / HGV Technician / Plant Technician / Mechanical Fitter background considered).Hands-on experience carrying out reactive repairs and planned servicing/maintenance in a workshop environment. Requirements for the Vehicle Fitter Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair ability.Ability to carry out routine servicing and preventative checks (including greasing and antifreeze checks).Able to order parts when required and maintain stock/parts levels.Confident keeping accurate records of repairs and servicing.Committed to working safely and following all HandS / environmental procedures.
