My client in the Killamarsh area looking for Vehicle Body Builders.The client specialise in both building and repairing commercial bodies, but we also offer a diverse range of services including: metal fabrication, general body repairs, accident damage and paintwork, vehicle electrics and so much more.We work with various materials, such as: steel, aluminium, plastic composites, wood and GRP products, utilising skills including: drilling, welding, grinding, folding and cutting of materials.Duties include:- Building, repairing and modifying commercial vehicle bodies.- Fabrication and welding.- Completing appropriate paperwork associated with job including time records.- Using various tools and machinery.- Preparing vehicles for painting.- Repairing minor dents, scratches, and other imperfections on vehicle surfaces.Skills Required:- Previous experience in body/coach building or commercial paint prep is essential, with ideally a minimum of 3 years of experience.- Knowledge and experience in metal fabrication and welding, vehicle electrics, paint & repair, CNC plasma cutting and a forklift certificate would be a distinct advantage.- Good time keeping and ability to work to build time frames.- Awareness of and adherence to all housekeeping and Health and Safety Regulations.- The completion of paperwork associated with jobs and time records is essential.- Ability to work as a team or independently.- Ability to paint would be an advantage.- Knowledge of hydraulic systems would be an advantage, but not essential.- Verbal communication.- Numeracy skills.- Full UK driving licence.- HGV licence would be an advantage, but not essential.- Ability to work from technical drawings.Working Days (Overtime available)IND123
