Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)

Kolt Recruitment are looking for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) to join a established Accident Repair Centre in Bishops Stortford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to play a key role in the estimating process, working closely with customers, insurers, and the workshop team to ensure efficient and accurate repair assessments. Responsibilities Accurately assess and estimate vehicle damage using Audatex (or similar) systems. Produce detailed repair reports and costings for insurers and customers. Liaise with insurers, engineers, and customers to authorise repair work. Work collaboratively with workshop and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth workflow. Ensure compliance with all industry regulations and company standards. Experience Proven experience as a VDA / Estimator within a bodyshop or accident repair environment. ATA VDA Accreditation (desirable, but not essential if experienced). Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and estimating systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Full UK driving licence.
