Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA)

Working within a busy and well-established bodyshop, you will play a key role in assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates and ensuring vehicles are repaired to the highest possible standard. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor looking to join a supportive independent business, with a starting salary basic of 38k (Negotiations could happen depending on experience) Job Duties Include: Carry out thorough inspections of vehicles to accurately assess accident and body damage. Identify all damage and determine the most appropriate repair methodology. Prepare accurate repair estimates and ensure all required parts, labour and materials are included. Use relevant estimating systems to produce detailed and accurate repair calculations. Liaise with customers to explain vehicle damage, repair requirements and expected timescales. Communicate with insurance companies, engineers and other relevant parties regarding vehicle repairs. Ensure repair estimates are completed accurately and submitted within agreed timescales. Review any additional damage identified during the repair process and update estimates accordingly.
