Vehicle Damage Assessor

We are recruiting for a-Vehicle Damage Assessor-on behalf of our client, a reputable and accredited workshop located in Attleborough. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a busy operation that values quality, accuracy, and continuous development.

Duties of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:

• Conduct comprehensive inspections and assessments of damaged vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and industry regulations
• Utilise estimating software such as Audatex to prepare accurate repair estimates
• Source and interpret repair techniques and technical data using recognised platforms
• Identify and account for additional repairs and works as needed during the repair process
• Collaborate with the workshop supervisor to ensure seamless workflow and operational efficiency
• Assist Parts Supervisor in managing parts ordering and receipt to minimise delays
• Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Apply technical knowledge and estimating skills to deliver high-quality damage assessments
• Stay informed on emerging repair techniques and vehicle types, including electric and hybrid vehicles

Requirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or Estimator
• Familiarity with estimating platforms, such as Audatex
• Sound understanding of vehicle repair methods and technical data sourcing
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and independently
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Valid VDA qualification is desirable but not essential
• Experience with electric and hybrid vehicles is a plus
• Own transport is required due to limited public transport options in the area
