We are currently recruiting on behalf of a nationally renowned accident repair specialist for a talented Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their team in Motherwell, Lanarkshire. Benefits of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:Basic salary c. 42,000OTE up to 48,000Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (30-minute break)30 days holidayOngoing trainingNo weekend workingCareer stability with an expanding business and an excellent national reputationDuties of the Vehicle Damage Assessor:Inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of damage, repair costs and repair timeframesUse Audatex competently to produce accurate estimatesIdentify the correct prescribed repair method and prepare, record and maintain electronic and manual estimate recordsLiaise effectively with insurance companies to support smooth repair authorisation and progressionWork closely with the wider bodyshop team to ensure Technicians understand repair methodology and documentation requirementsMaintain accurate job documentation to support audit and quality standardsRequirements of a Vehicle Damage Assessor:Significant previous experience in a VDA/Estimator roleConfidence using AudatexNVQ and/or ATA qualification (ATA accreditation desirable)Ability to meet tight deadlinesHigh attention to detailFull UK driving licenceThe Vehicle Damage Assessor role is a strong opportunity for an experienced individual seeking a new challenge with no weekends and a clear route for progression.
