Vehicle Damage Assessor

kolt recruitment are looking for a VDA to join a busy accident repair centre based in high wycombe. this is a great opportunity for an experienced vehicle damage assessor to join a well-established bodyshop, working within a fast-paced environment and playing a key role in the repair process from estimate through to completion.
key responsibilities:

• carry out accurate and detailed vehicle damage assessments-
• prepare repair estimates using industry-recognised systems-
• liaise with insurance companies, engineers and customers-
• identify additional damage and update estimates accordingly-
• ensure all repairs are cost-effective and meet required standards-
• work closely with the workshop team to ensure smooth workflow-

requirements:

• previous experience as a vda or estimator within an accident repair centre-
• strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and processes-
• experience using estimating systems such as audatex or glassmatix-
• excellent communication and organisational skills-
• ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment-
• full uk driving licence preferred-
