Vehicle Damage Assessor

kolt recruitment are looking for a VDA (Vehicle Damage Assessor) for a busy and well-established accident repair centre based in Slough. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced VDA to join a fast-paced bodyshop environment, where accuracy, efficiency, and strong communication with insurers and customers are essential to success.
Key responsibilities:

• Accurately assess vehicle damage and produce repair estimates using Audatex or similar systems-
• Liaise with insurance companies, engineers, and customers throughout the repair process-
• Identify additional damage and update estimates accordingly-
• Ensure all repairs are carried out in line with manufacturer and industry standards-
• Work closely with the workshop and parts department to ensure smooth workflow-
• Maintain high levels of customer service and communication-

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a VDA / Estimator within an accident repair centre-
• Strong knowledge of vehicle repair methods and estimating systems (Audatex preferred)-
• ATA accreditation (desirable but not essential)-
• Excellent organisational and communication skills-
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment-
• Full UK driving licence-
