Our client, a reputable and well-established bodyshop in Ilkeston, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join their busy team.

The successful-Vehicle Damage Assessor will play a key role in inspecting vehicles, producing accurate repair estimates, and liaising with insurers and workshop staff to ensure efficient repair processes.

Duties:

• Conduct vehicle damage inspections and assess repair requirements as a vehicle damage assessor
• Produce precise repair estimates using industry-standard systems
• Identify suitable repair methods in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
• Liaise with insurance companies to secure repair authorisations
• Communicate repair plans effectively with technicians and workshop staff
• Maintain accurate records and manage repair documentation efficiently

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a vehicle damage assessor or estimator
• ATA or IMI certification preferred
• Familiarity with Audatex estimation software desirable
• Strong knowledge of vehicle damage assessment, bodyshop repair processes, and methodologies
• Full valid UK driving licence
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
