Vehicle Configuration Specialist (Automotive)Location: Surrey (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)Contract: 6 monthsIR35 Status: Outside IR35Rate: £250 per dayWe''re recruiting for an exciting opportunity with a automotive manufacturer based in Surrey.We''re looking for a Vehicle Configuration Specialist to support the production of bespoke, high-performance vehicles, ensuring vehicle specifications, parts information and manufacturing data are accurately maintained across engineering and production systems.This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in automotive configuration, Bill of Materials (BoM) management, SAP or manufacturing data coordination to work within a specialist automotive environment.Key Responsibilities Create, update and maintain vehicle configuration and parts data within SAP.Support Bill of Materials (BoM) management, ensuring accurate part numbers, specifications, and product information.Coordinate bespoke vehicle specifications and component requirements.Review engineering drawings, technical documentation, and parts information to ensure data accuracy.Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Logistics teams to resolve configuration and parts-related queries.Support engineering changes and ensure relevant manufacturing data is updated accurately.Identify and resolve data discrepancies that could impact vehicle production.
