Job Title: Coach / Vehicle Builders.Location: Kings Heath Depot, Northampton.Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (50 hours per week)Rates: 18.68 PAYE 23.83 Umbrella (pre 12 weeks) 25.11 Umbrella (post 12 weeks)Duration: Ongoing / long term Company Summary:Working for a leading global provider of mobility solutions across urban, interurban and freight transportation sectors.Position Summary:This role is based at a newly refurbished depot in Northampton, supporting large-scale overhaul projects. You will be part of a team of Vehicle Builders responsible for refitting and modernising the interiors of train carriages.Key Responsibilities:Stripping and preparing vehicles for repair workCutting and fitting materials to precise measurementsInstalling components such as panels, flooring, carpets and seating using materials including wood, metal, composites, sealants and adhesivesAssembling, fitting and finishing interior and exterior featuresUsing Siemens systems/software to input data and access VMI informationRemoving and refitting windowsPerson Profile:Previous experience as a Vehicle Builder, Coachbuilder, Carpenter or Shop Fitter or general mechanical experience.
