Vehicle Bodybuilder / Coachbuilder / Vehicle Body FitterLocation: Trafford Park, ManchesterSalary: Up to £15.60 per hourHours: 44 hours per week Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:30, Friday 07:00-15:30Job Type: Full Time PermanentVehicle Bodybuilder / CoachbuilderAre you an experienced Vehicle Bodybuilder, Coachbuilder, Body Fitter or Commercial Vehicle Bodybuilder looking for a new opportunity in Trafford Park, Manchester?We are looking for a practical, hands-on Vehicle Bodybuilder to join a busy manufacturing team, building and finishing high-quality commercial vehicle bodies.Key Responsibilities Build and install commercial vehicle bodiesFit insulated panels to commercial freezer bodiesRead engineering drawings and works ordersUse hand tools, bench saws and measuring equipmentCut and shape metal, wood and plastic materialsComplete electrical termination for lighting, switches and tail liftsSeal floors, roofs and joints using silicone and specialist coatingsComplete work safely and to high quality standardsMaintain a clean and safe workshopWork independently to meet deadlines About You Previous Vehicle Bodybuilding, Coachbuilding or Body Fitting experienceCommercial vehicle body experience is highly desirableConfident using hand and workshop toolsAble to read engineering drawingsPractical, reliable and safety-consciousGood attention to detail and pride in your workmanshipOwn transport or reliable means of getting to Trafford Park Relevant experience in vehicle bodywork, ..... full job details .....
